Capcade calendars are now available with a unique link that you can connect to your other calendars, including Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal and others.

Chat Archive
You can now archive your chat channels for record keeping and compliance purposes when the chat is no longer active. Any chat admins can do so, the chat will be stored and can be unarchived at a later date.

Folder Access Request
Just as you can request access to a specific document, you can request access to a specific folder in a Capcade data room.
The manager of the folder’s permissions will get an instant notification and will be able to grant the appropriate level of access.

Alerts for Saved Search Items
If you are keeping track of documents using a saved search, the system will alert you if new items meet that criteria.
For example, if you have an advanced search set up for “NDAs uploaded within the last 30 days,” you will receive a notification if a new NDA file is uploaded.

Task Reminders
When managing a task, you can set a reminder if the task has a deadline attached. This reminder can be set to recur daily, weekly, monthly or a custom range.

Video Transcript Extraction for Search
We've introduced a new feature that automatically extracts text content from audio in newly uploaded videos, facilitating easier and more accurate searches.
This feature uses AI to produce English language transcripts of the spoken content in your videos.
Once the transcript is generated, it's saved in a searchable format and associated with the corresponding video.

Two-Factor Authentication with Authenticator
Authenticator apps are now supported for two-factor authentication (2FA) in your user settings. If 2FA is enabled for your entity, you now have the option to set up anAuthenticator app such as Google Authenticator, as an alternative to using SMS.

When creating an advanced search, you can now save the filters for easy access for recurring usage.

Analytics Tab in Document Viewer
We're excited to introduce the new Analytics tab in the document viewer. This feature provides valuable insights into user engagement and file activity.
The first section displays the three most active users, based on the sum of views, edits, and downloads. You can click on a user to see more details.
The second section contains the file activity log with three filter options, now behaving as checkboxes for easier use. The Analytics tab is always visible and maintains the same permission requirements as the previous activity log.

Tag Filtering in Advanced Search
We're pleased to announce the addition of tag filtering in the advanced search feature. This update allows you to refine your search results by selecting specific organization tags, making it easier to find the information you need. The tag filter behaves the same way as the data room filter and includes all organization tags.

All Actions Available in File Viewer
We've updated the file viewer in Capcade to now include all actions from the right-click menu. No matter if you've opened a file from the activity log, search results, favorites, or data room, you'll have access to all available actions.
If an action cannot be executed due to permission restrictions, it will be shown with a tooltip, just like in the data room.

When creating or editing a task, you can now link helpful information so the assignee can quickly manage the task itself. An exciting new feature on Capcade is Tasks. Tasks enable users to better plan and focus their regular daily activities and coordinate internal and external team members. Permissions snapshot in file viewer
When you are viewing a document, you can now quickly see who else has permissions to see or edit the file. There’s now a tab visible in the document viewer where you can see all users which have access and those users are listed and grouped by the specific permissions they have.

New data residency location
Capcade now supports data localization in Jakarta, Indonesia. When registering your organization there are 14 different choices for data residency around the world, with more locations available in the future.
In addition to Indonesia, locations include the US, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Japan and several others.

Enhanced file security
Capcade strives to have robust and banking grade security for all your data, as we are SOC II compliant and ISO 27001 certified.
Now, prior to downloading files or folders there is an enhanced security check which flags potentially malicious files. Of course, only people who you have granted access to your data room can upload files and it is at the user’s discretion to download.

Custom login page
You can now create a custom login page for your internal and external users on Capcade via the Entity settings section. For this custom login page you can define the URL and set custom branding including a logo and hero image.

Favorites
You can now mark any Capcade marketplace, portfolio, transaction, files or folders as a favorite so it appears in your favorites collection on your Dashboard page for quick access. You can add and remove favorites with one click of the star icon next to the relevant item.

Public upload request
You can now create a public link where files can be dropped for upload in a pre-set destination in a data room. This is using the same concept at a regular upload request and you can also assign a deadline for the requested upload.

Shared Data Room file links
Files in your data room can now be easily shared via public and restricted links.
A restricted link ensures that only registered Capcade users can view the file. A public link enables anyone to view that file with the URL.

When using the data room, you can now easily manage core actions like edit, move, download and others via right click.
SSO enforcing
In your organization’s settings you can not only set up SSO via Google, Okta, or MyId but you can also mandate that your team members can only sign in via SSO for security purposes.

Data Room file duplication
You can now copy files and folders from one data room to another. The means you can create a second data room as a private repository to store your documents from other data rooms you have access to.

Notification Center
In your user profile, you can now manage the cadence and frequency of the notifications you receive regarding your data rooms, transactions and other features inside Capcade.

Update user info
It is now easy for you to update your email and phone number in your user profile. Option to change email address and phone number is now available.

Domain whitelisting
In your organization settings you can now specify what email domains are approved to join your internal team.
The means you can easily restrict access in the invitation process for security reasons and only whitelisted emails domains can be registered into your organization.

VDR Create new Office files
You can now create new Microsoft Office files directly from your Capcade data room. Just as in editing MS office documents, you only need edit rights on the relevant folder and a MS business account to get started.

Editing and real-time co-authoring with MS Office
Capcade’s virtual data rooms (VDRs) are now integrated with Microsoft Office. If you have a MS Office business account can you edit and collaborate on office documents in real time.
Supported files include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Commenting on Files
When opening a file in the VDR, you can make comments right inside the document viewer to collaborate with colleagues or external parties, whoever has view rights to the document itself.
In addition, you can assign a status to the comment (i.e., “accept”) to make diligence and approvals seamless.

VDR Email address
You can now create a custom address for your VDR so that files can be sent via email. The VDR has a default address but it can now be customized in the settings section.

German and French language support
